The Bexley Girls Soccer Team recently won the 2009 Ohio Division II Girls Soccer Championship. The Bexley Lions finished their amazing season 21-0-3."

"A graduate of North High School in Columbus, Mr. Lawson earned his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University in 1941. Following his distinguished service in the Second World War, he returned to his alma mater, completing his juris doctorate work in 1948. He later served in the Korean Conflict, achieving the rank of captain."

Northland High School is in my congressional district, and as a Northland graduate, I am proud to recognize a school that not only excels in academics but also distinguishes itself on the basketball court. The Northland High School basketball team recently won the 2009 Ohio Division I Boys Basketball Championship. In the championship game, Northland defeated Cincinnati Princeton 60 to 58."
